HiFocus 161i neo

The exceptional quality on the cutting surfaces, characterised by dross-free cuts, the very small straightness and inclination tolerances as well as the low roughness are in connection with the high precision in the tolerance range and the high part reproducibility in relation with the excellent productivity, are the parameters on which the world-wide reputation of the HiFocus technology is based.


The request for a plasma cutting unit with HiFocusPLUS technology for materials from 0.5 to 30(50) mm was the reason for this new product development. Additionally the rising demand of the metal forming industry calls for a future-orientated and up-to-date HiFocus system, covering its technical capabilities and meeting all requirements on the local and international market.



The plasma cutting system HiFocus 161i neo with its progressive Soft-Switch Inverter and the latest plasma torches PerCut 201 and PerCut 211 (quick-change torch with bayonet joint) is designed for marking and cutting operations on mild steels, stainless steels, aluminium and other electrically conductive materials in a range of 0.5 to 50mm and offers various new possibilities for the application in the metal-working industries, vehicle fabrication, container production, etc.

With the HiFocus 161i neo the user gets a unit which ensures a steady cutting process even under unfavourable conditions. Foil-coated or soiled material surfaces, inclusions in the metal, air gaps as well as mild steel with enhanced content of silicon or sulphur do not influence the cutting operation.

  • Stepless cutting-current adjustment from 10 to 160 A for cutting, and 4 to 25 A for marking

Plasma Torch PerCut 201
  • Plasma cutting torch PerCut 160 with newly developed nozzle-cathode concept and swirl-gas technology ensures absolutely stable main arc properties
  • Longevity of consumables due to water cooling, swirl gas and dual-gas ignition
  • Hose parcel extensions enlarge the operational radius up to 55m
  • Special torches for specific applications available on request (robot types; with short and/or bended shafts).
